Celebrating One Year of The Hair House

With the launch of our new look website and the start of blog posting, The Hair House officially turns one year old — and I can hardly believe how quickly the past twelve months have flown by.

When Tom and I, first put the key in the door to welcoming our very first clients, we had a dream: to create more than just a salon. We wanted The Hair House to feel like a statement, a sanctuary, and a place where both creativity and comfort could exist side by side. Looking back now, I feel proud to say we’ve achieved exactly that — and so much more.

From Vision to Reality

Starting The Hair House was about taking everything I had learned in my career as a stylist and pouring it into something of my own. I knew I wanted a space where clients felt at ease the moment they walked in, where appointments didn’t just feel like maintenance but like experiences, and where a strong team could grow and shine together.

One of my biggest personal highlights has been the launch of our very own professional product range. Turning that vision into a reality took months of research, testing, designing, and perfecting. Seeing the bottles on our shelves — and even more importantly, in the hands of our clients — is honestly a pinch-me moment. Creating something from scratch that reflects our brand and our values has been one of the proudest milestones of my career.

Another unforgettable moment was The Hair House Edit — our first ever photoshoot. For me, it was about more than just capturing images; it was about capturing our identity. Seeing those A1 prints now displayed across our salon walls is a daily reminder of what we’ve built. The team effort behind this project created something timeless and creative, showcasing our passion and dedication to our craft.

• Amelia, the newest to the team, is working hard towards becoming a Technician and already showing the drive and creativity that make me excited for the future.

Each of them has played a huge role in shaping The Hair House into what it is today — and I couldn’t be prouder.
